Incline Utility Benches

Incline utility benches are similar to the basic utility bench, yet designed distinctly different; the basic utility bench is made with a flat frame, the incline bench isn’t. Exercises for the incline bench range from barbell reps to dumbbell lifts to crunches or even sit-ups when the backing is lowered to the ‘flat’ position; like the basic utility bench, the incline workout bench can easily be used for any type of exercise, weight-related or not. Incline bench exercises are free, meaning that they are non-restrictive. But where the single position for the basic utility bench limits positions in which users can work, the incline weight bench allows for more physical dynamics due to a plethora of different positions. Comfort and personal preference, then, are inherent in this weight bench. Incline-Decline benches are built this way for just that reason, so that any incline bench press is automatically customized to its user. Because of this, the incline bench is very versatile.

Weighing approximately 50 lbs, the typical incline utility bench is constructed with a simple but dynamic, sturdy frame of either black, white, and sometimes silver, chrome or steel tubing, depending on the manufacturer and the bench’s particular design; a narrow, sometimes tapered leather or upholstered foam two-piece seat; adjustable knobs, hooks, or pins that frequently have a lock position; and rubber floor pads for balance and to prevent scraping. The variety of colors range anywhere from red to teal to rose to sand to royal blue to emerald green, contingent, again, on the particular make. Some manufacturers produce their own distinctive hues. Also unique to the incline utility bench is the fact that many come with three separate warranties: one for the frame (usually a lifetime), one for the upholstery (anywhere from a year to ten years), and one for the bearings.

Some of the more prominent brands are: Nautilus, York, Gill, Legend, Nebula, and the Danskin incline bench. Dumbbell and barbell press flexing and total physical dexterity are top considerations for all incline benches, regardless of make. The incline benches produced between these manufacturers are different only in design; all are quality and ensure heavy-duty performance for both beginners and professional weight-lifters. One example of the Gold’s Gym incline bench, which facilitates all kinds of users.

What one wants, many online weight bench sites offer a variety at reasonable prices. Discounts are quite frequently available, so browsing and comparing is an important first move before buying anything. Serious buys should always find the right incline bench to serve their particular needs.
